The Installation Mass for the National Board was held on Saturday, October 3, in Des Moines, Iowa. It was moving and sacred, despite the fact that the beautiful red roses and white candles ceremony was prohibited because of social distancing.
One-hundred and thirty-five Catholic Daughters, family and friends traveled from across the country for the special occasion to show their support, and courts from National Regent Sherry Nilles' home state of Iowa were well-represented.
Iowa State Regent Karen Kasparbauer, Immediate Past State Regent Jan Grundmeyer and National Director/Past State Regent Darlene Moritz planned and organized the Mass and Banquet, with the assistance of other Iowa state officers and court members.
