In the video below Past National Regents Anne Nelson and Shirley Seyfried talk about Campus Courts on EWTN's "The Church Universal."
Abby Brinkman, 22, of Our Lady of Grace Campus Court #2591 in Sioux City, Iowa, said that she “was looking for a group of young women to help me grow deeper in my faith as well as an organization that made a difference in our campus as well as in the community; Catholic Daughters provides me with all of this.”
Abby points to the importance of having friendships with young women who share Catholic faith. “Some of my best friends in college are young women that are also on campus court with me. It is wonderful to have friends with the same faith as I do. "
She adds, “Being involved with campus court gives me the ability to get involved on campus with other students and faculty. It helped me meet a great group of women to have throughout my four years of college and taught me the importance of not only volunteering on our campus, but in the community. The friends I have made and the lessons I have learned from Catholic Daughters has helped me tremendously throughout my years at Briar Cliff. “
